The Simpsons reference The Room, don’t use a raptor

While Lisa is typically she who is tearing us apart, The Simpsons proved over the weekend that this isn’t always the case; she only needs to be in close proximity. In last Sunday’s episode, one character breaks into a very sudden, very obvious Tommy Wiseau pose and declares that he is, in fact, being torn apart.
The Room
has now been referenced on the longest-running American sitcom in history, people. This is kind of a big deal.

I’m one of those people who really couldn’t care less about The Simpsons anymore, even if it has “gotten better,” but it’s hard to deny that this is pretty much the greatest thing that has ever happened to Mr. Wiseau and his inherent raptorness.

Thanks to reader Buddytonto for the tip, who is currently passing a football to me from three feet away.
