The first trailer has now dropped for director S. Craig Zahler’s new movie Dragged Across Concrete. Zahler is an accomplished author and filmmaker whose movies tend to be overlooked by the majority of people but not the critics. His first two movies, Bone Tomahawk and Brawl in Cell Block 99, are gritty, funny, and ultra-violent character pieces and I’m always excited to see what he does next.
Dragged Across Concrete is about two detectives who are suspended and turn to the criminal underworld in order to receive, as the trailer puts it, “proper compensation.”
