By To help ring in the month of “Monstober,” Disney has released six new posters for Tim Burton’s recently released stop-motion movie Frankenweenie. The movie’s story centers around a young Victor Frankenstein who brings his beloved pet dog — Sparky — back to life, and now we have wonderfully vintage horror movie poster inspired posters for other undead pets in the Frankenweenie universe.
I particularly love the Day of the Turtle one, since you can clearly see its Japanese horror influences in the poster’s design. The use of color vs black and white is pretty great in all of these, too. And if you haven’t seen Frankenweenie yet, it’s apparently pretty good, so what are you waiting for?
