By Zachary Levi is being eyed for Thor 2, which would be his first major project since the wonderful Chuck ended in January. Bartowski… sorry, Levi, will play Fandral of the Warriors Three, a role previously filled by Josh Dallas before his television commitment to Once Upon A Time forced him to pull out. Ray Stevenson (Volstagg) and Tadanobu Asano (Hogun) will both be returning to join him.
Levi was courted for the role first time around, but his Chuck schedule got in the way. Negotiations have not begun yet, but an offer is reportedly on the way. Hopefully Levi will get a more prominent role than Dallas did, because he’s a hugely charismatic actor and will surely plenty of his devoted Chuck fanbase. As much as the first movie wasn’t quite to my taste, Levi is reportedly one of the loveliest men in the biz, so it’s always good to see him getting work.
Thor 2 is set for release on November 8th 2013 and is reportedly set to start shooting this summer.
