Thor: The Dark World gets a Loki poster and dumb petition

Although Thor: The Dark World is currently undergoing re-shoots to add more Loki, it’s not enough for some folks out there. There’s currently a petition on Change.org for a solo Loki film because some folks can’t handle that Thor: The Dark World is the last time they’ll see Loki.

According to the petition, found by the good folks at The Hollywood Reporter, at least 11,000 people as of now want a solo Loki film:

We feel Loki (as portrayed by Tom Hiddleston), due to the astounding following both the character and actor have earned as a result of the Marvel films, more than warrants further exploration of his story. We believe such an endeavor would not only be profitable and successful, but provide a larger view for general audiences of the incredibly complex and diverse personality a well-known villain of the Marvel universe is gifted with. To explore this darker side of the Thor storyline would be to give credit to a compelling individual, his remarkable portrayer and an appreciative audience that feels a fierce loyalty to both in an unprecedented way. Simply put: He has an army.

So…yeah. The people want more Loki. Seeing as how I’m cool with as little Thor as possible, I’d rather just have Loki pop up in Avengers 3 or something down the road. Instead of a petition, maybe those people should support Thor: The Dark World in theaters. If that does well, then the studio will consider doing more things for that universe. What about you? Do you want more Loki?
