Thor: The Dark World reshooting to add more Loki

Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is popular for any number of reasons. He’s attractive, he’s a fine actor, and some people just like his lines in The Avengers. Since Thor: The Dark World will feature the last of Loki we’ll see for awhile, it seems fit to try and fit as much of Loki into it as possible (despite it being Thor’s movie I guess whatever).

In an interview with Collider, Alan Taylor admits that Thor: The Dark World is getting a few reshoots for “clarity”:

We’re literally shooting some things this week. Anthony Hopkins is back in town, we’re going to be getting some stuff from him. We continue to, what Kevin Feige calls “plus” the movie…We’re doing full scenes, scenes that were not in the movie before. We’re adding scenes, creating scenes, writing scenes for the first time…We realized how well Loki was working in the movie, and we wanted to do more with him. So it was that kind of thing. It was like, ‘Oh, we could do this, we could jam this in here because he’s such a wonderful guy to watch do his stuff.’

Taylor claims this isn’t because the film has problems, but it’s just to add more “fun” to the whole thing. I guess we’ll wait and see. More Hiddleston can’t be a bad thing, can it?
