Disney has hit the ground running with its MCU shows, as WandaVision earned acclaim and Falcon and the Winter Soldier is currently midway through its series run. Next up on the docket for Disney+ subscribers is Loki, the show that picks up where we last saw the trickster god in Endgame.
Slated for six episodes, Loki dives into the world of the Time Variance Authority led by Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson). In the new trailer, Mobius provides Loki (Tom Hiddleston) with some background on how he ended up there, and what the TVA needs from Thor’s brother. As the TVA’s purpose is to manage time across the multiverse, Loki’s instant escape when he grabbed the tesseract threw a wrench in the inner workings of time and reality.
If the trailer is any indication, the chemistry between Hiddleston and Wilson is evident as their characters play off each other with seamless ease. While the barbs between Loki and Mobius are light and quippy, there look to be some excellent fight scenes to balance things out and showcase a character many fans have come to love.
Loki hits Disney+ on June 11th.
