Tom Hardy wants to play Bond if Nolan directs

This is more of an actor’s daydream than a real piece of news, but what a daydream it is. In a recent interview Tom Hardy was asked about playing Bond and responded with a response that should give anyone who likes movies a little flutter in their heart.

“I’d love to play Bond with Chris Nolan (as a) director or something, it would be awesome,” the actor admitted, making everyone’s mind run wild.

Actually for me, the Tom Hardy part of this isn’t that exciting, but the Christopher Nolan directing Bond part is. Nolan is already an admitted Bond freak, and with his ability to meld action and art house, he’d be a perfect fit for the darker Bond Craig introduced. In fact, I think Daniel Craig and Christopher Nolan would be an incredible duo for a Bond film. I’m plenty excited for Sam Mendes, but now I can’t stop thinking about how perfect Nolan would be for Bond.
