Toy Story 3 begs for Oscar Award with more campaign ads

0

Hey Oscars, you should totally give Toy Story 3 the award for best movie of the year. Just kidding. No, really. Ha! Tee-hee. Call me. Ugh. This really feels beneath Pixar, and I don’t like the notion that ads can or should have ANY effect on the outcome of the awards.

Pixar is more consistently awesome than any other group in the industry, but it’s not like we all don’t already know that. Is making more money in theaters in 2010 than anyone else not enough for you, Pixar? Do you
really
want to suggest that higher profits indicate higher quality? Hmm? Is that something you want to own up to saying and stand behind?

It feels like Pixar is becoming the Disney we all knew in the 1990s, where no one disputed that their work was amazing, but it didn’t change the fact that they were slightly arrogant jerks who bullied and bragged every year about their new amazing, awesome, touching, AIDS-curing film of the year. Regardless of how you feel about Pixar, below are the new Oscar begging ad campaign pics, with more to come over the next few weeks.
