By Austenland stars Keri Russell as a middle-aged woman obsessed with everything Jane Austen. So obsessed in fact, that she decides to pack up and head to a themed resort called Austenland. There she is dressed in Recency-era clothes and participates in period appropriate activities such as being courted by Mr. Darcy-like men (who are actually just paid actors at the resort).
She begins to feel disillusioned with what she dreamed would be a perfect Jane Austen world, and finds herself increasingly attracted to a stable boy played by the ever-handsome Bret McKenzie. The movie premiered to average reviews, but yes, I would watch Austenland just for Bret. Austenland will land in theaters August 16th, 2013.
