In Big Miracle, John Krasinski plays a small town news reporter in northern Alaska who finds three whales trapped in ice. He enlists the help of a Greenpeace volunteer, played by Drew Barrymore, who rally the town, the state and even the soviets into helping their whale-saving cause.
While I can’t really tell from the trailer how much footage of the whales is computer generated, the trailer looks pretty decent. Clean-cut family-friendly animal movie, but at least it’s not too cheesy.
