Starring Caleb Steinmeyer (Lost) and Zulay Henao (Takers), Boy Wonder is a very original take on the superhero film by writer/director Michael Morrissey. Not overtaken by flashy special effects or cheesy fight scenes, the film is a great look at a world where real superheroes could exist. There are no super powers, no cheesy catch phrases, and definitely no capes.
Liz and I had a chance to watch and review the film this past spring at C2E2, but you’ll soon get your chance to watch it for yourselves as it will be hitting theaters in New York on October 21st, Chicagoan theaters on October 28th, and the rest of the country on November 8th.
