Cloned: The Recreator Chronicles is an upcoming sci-fi horror movie about a group of friends who go on a camping trip only to accidentally become trapped in a deadly battle with …. themselves! According to the press release for Cloned, the movie aims to be a combination of “science-fiction realism and psychological terror that merges the anxious paranoia of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” with the teenage angst of the “Twilight” series.” Which actually sounds kinda cool if Cloned: The Recreator Chronicles can pull it off!
What’s also interesting about the movie is how they had to go about representing two identical people onscreen simultaneously. We’ve come a long was from The Parent Trap days. Cloned: The Recreator Chronicles will be released on DVD, Netflix, Amazon and Video On Demand on April 23rd, 2013.
