Trailer for Hercules: The Legend Begins has already lost

For those of you that didn’t know, there are currently two competing Hercules films. One, Hercules: The Thracian Wars, stars Dwayne Johnson and he looks amazing in the role. Second is Hercules: The Legend Begins starring Kellan Lutz (whose biggest role was in the Twilight saga). Now I’m trying to be fair to both Hercules films before I claim one as the zero and one the hero, but this first trailer for Hercules: The Legend Begins is not making it easy. 

You now what’s bad? When your trailer only contains two lines of dialogue from your lead character, yet everyone seems to be talking AT him all the time. Then you have 300 aping effects (a flip?!?), that one weird sprig of water at the boat scene where it looks like someone just threw a bucket of it on set, but I’d be fine with this if it were a direct to DVD feature or something. Unfortunately, Hercules: The Legend Begins sadly releases in theaters sometime next year IN 3D.
