Joe Dante has had a string of mediocre films lately. A formerly quirky name in the horror genre, with films like Gremlins and Small Soldiers, but after directing a bunch of television and whatever exactly The Hole was, his directing hasn’t been as sharp since. Burying the Ex doesn’t seem to buck that trend in the slightest.
Starring Anton Yelchin, Ashley Greene, and Alexandra Daddario, Burying the Ex is a zom-rom-com, in which a dead girl comes back to life and gets back together with her boyfriend. Yeah. Burying the Ex releases sometime this year.
