I hope this trailer does something to assuage the fears that some of you had with the first trailer for Martin Scorcese’s 3D adventure, Hugo. I am really looking forward to this movie. It looks like a very classic adventure, and I’m finding all the child characters very endearing, for what glimpses I’m getting from the trailers. It should be telling that I’m usually Mr. Serious Film Man, and the two movies I’m most looking forward to this year involve Muppets and kids having magical adventures. Cleaning out my cynicism is the new vampires.
