In Hyde Park on Hudson, we have an effervescent Bill Murray playing one of the most unforgettable presidents in American history, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Also starring is Laura Linney as Daisy, Roosevelt’s distant cousin, confidante and possible love interest.
Something about this trailer is absolutely charming to me. Bill Murray looks like does and excellent job in the role, but then again, it is Bill Murray. Hyde Park on Hudson tells the story of the first ever visit to America by a reigning English monarch in 1939 and the chaos and political and social faux pas that ensued. It’s due in theaters in early December 2012.
