By I seriously love the fact that Pedro Almodovar’s follow-up to the brilliantly demented The Skin I Live In is something as light, kooky, and campy-looking as I’m So Excited (Los amantes pasajeros). As Kevin at The Playlist points out, this looks like it’s in tune with Almodovar’s early films, and there isn’t anything wrong with that at all.
Like the teaser trailer for I’m So Excited, the movie looks like a total lark. We even get a glimpse of the cameos for Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz.
I’m So Excited comes out in Spain on March 8th. It will be released stateside some time later this year. In the gallery are some stills from the film.
