I feel like this movie has been in production for foreverrr. The brain-child of directors James Swirsky and Lisanne Pajot, Indie Game: The Movie is a Canadian documentary about the life of the independent video game developer, and the hardships that they endure in the current video game industry. Featured in the doc are Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes, from indie game darling Super Meat Boy, Phil Fish, the guy behind the highly-anticipated game Fez, and Jonathan Blow, the man behind the indie game super-star: Braid.
This new trailer for Indie Game: The Movie was just released for the Sundance Film Festival, where the doc was recently announced as a selection in the World Cinema Documentary Competition. I really hope this means big things for the documentary!
