By Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is the sequel to 2008’s Journey to the Center of the Earth. I am thrilled with whomever decided to shorten the movie’s name, since Journey to the Center of the Earth 2: The Mysterious Island of Mysterious Mysteries is a mouthful and stupid. (Hint Hint, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1)
In Journey 2, Josh Hutcherson returns as Sean, with Dwayne Johnson playing his stepfather. The trailer sets up why they travel to this mysterious island and previews what it’s like when they find it – and are presumably stranded there.
