By Does anyone else want to hate Colin Hanks because he’s the son of Tom Hanks, but can’t because he’s damn near as charming as his father? I have this conflict every time I see something with him in it and I had it again when I watched the new trailer for his upcoming indy-comedy Lucky.
Hanks plays a man who wins the lottery and it nets him the girl of his dreams. He also happens to be a serial killer. Sounds like comic gold to me!
In all honesty, I’m guessing this will only be a passable comedy from this trailer, especially since Gil Cates Jr. is hardly a proven director. I am, however, steadily falling in love with Ari Graynor so seeing her in a bigger role will be quite nice.
