Man, Melancholia is looking to be depressing as all hell. That’s really to be expected, considering it’s about a planet on a collision course for Earth, and Lars “Willem Defoe Ejaculates Blood” Von Trier is writing and directing. I’d say this UK trailer isn’t as good as the first trailer we posted. It really makes the movie look fairly dull. Again, though, it’s Lars Von Trier. I’d have to say we’ve got a fifty-fifty chance of this either being really, really good or just absolutely terrible.
Melancholia released in UK theaters September 30, US theaters November 11th, and on-demand October 7th.
