By I love the Mission Impossible franchise. The first film is a tight spy thriller, the second is crazy, stupid fun, and the third one is surprisingly kickass, even if it’s just a ripoff of the first couple episodes of Alias. Makes sense, considering it’s J.J. Abrams. Now, the trailer for the long-awaited Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, directed by my man Brad Bird, is out, and I love it so much. It looks wicked cool. I still have a lot of trouble taking Tom Cruise seriously anymore, but the presence of The Ren and Simon Pegg are allaying the hell out of my fears. I can’t wait.
