Mood Indigo is Michel Gondry’s return to the surreal and mysterious much like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It’s world is one where you can ride around in a cloud, fall in love with a woman who inhales a lily into her lung, and swim around majestically (I didn’t want to spoil that scene in the trailer, but it looks marvelous).
There’s still no domestic release date yet, but I want to see more of this soon. I won’t understand what’s going on (thanks to all the French) but I’m sure I’ll love what I see.
