By This international trailer for Laika’s Paranorman spells out the plot of the film a little bit deeper and does precisely what I expected it to: reinforce my notion that I want this movie inside of me. I’m still giggling over the final gag at the end, with the slow zombies and the vending machine. I’m still a little worried that the chubby, hapless best friend will get to grate on me, since the jokes involving him seem to be mostly revolving around, “LOL FAT AND DUMB.” That said, I’ve got a lot of faith in this picture and in John Goodman’s delightful, crazy old Hobo of Exposition.
