There have been a lot of Star Wars documentaries over the years, but Plastic Galaxy: The Story of Star Wars Toys is making its mark by examining the impact of the merchandise aspect of the much-loved franchise. Star Wars merchandise is a notoriously high-stakes arena, but perhaps only stereotypically so.
This trailer is short, but I hope that the documentary will delve into the history and culture behind avid Star Wars toys collectors. Since theirs is a pain often misunderstood or marginalized by the rest of society.
