By Rapturepalooza is a comedic take on the Rapture, that biblical story that Jesus Christ will leave behind all sinners on Earth as the Antichrist tries to take over the world (For better reference, watch that “Rapture’s Delight” episode of American Dad). It stars Anna Kendrick and John Frances Daley as a young couple that wants to destroy the Antichrist (Craig Robinson??).
The trailer is very sparse in jokes and looks more cheesy than anything, but Craig Robinson brings his brand of charm to the role. And, well, it’s got Anna Kendrick. So, yeah I’m seeing this.
