Trailer: Red Lights

A trailer was just released today for the new thriller Red Lights, starring Robert De Niro, Cillian Murphy, Sigourney Weaver, and Elizabeth Olsen. Now, Allistair got a chance to check out Red Lights at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. In his review of Red Lights, Allistair mentioned the film was well-crafted up until the end.

Given my fandom of Harry Houdini and James Randi — both debunkers of psychics/mediums as well as gifted illusionists — the plot of Red Lights seems right up my alley. I do wonder about the end, however, since Allistair and many others have pointed out it’s pretty wack.

Red Lights opens in March in Spain (director Rodrigo Cortés’s home country). No release date for the United States as of now, but it was picked up for distribution by Millennium Entertainment, so we can probably expect it later this year.
