By Did any of you guys see Dragon Wars, also known as D-Wars? It’s about the worst movie ever to feature dragons clawing the crap out of each other over downtown L.A. It’s one of those rare “so bad it’s good but then rolls back around to bad again,” movies. Rise of the Planet of the Apes could be one of those.
I mean, watch this trailer. It’s ridiculous. It looks like a parody movie! James Franco looks embarrassed to be in it, and from the looks of the material, he should be! A great ape attacks a helicopter, and this is all done completely unironically. I mean, I know we’re talking about a Planet of the Apes prequel here, but this just looks ridiculous.
Also, I don’t want any of you to think that this is deterring me from seeing the movie. I can’t wait to see this movie. It looks amazing and ridiculous, and it comes out around my birthday! I can’t wait!
