By The trailer for Robot and Frank is now out, and while Hubert didn’t walk away too fond of the movie at a Sundance screening last winter, I think this trailer is pretty cute.
Featuring the lovably cranky Frank Langella as a retired criminal and (Andres Bolivar’s secret large-eyed celebrity crush) Susan Sarandon as a lonely librarian, Robot and Frank tells the seemingly charming story of Frank’s son getting him a helper-robot who he then convinces to help him rob his rich neighbors. Robot and Frank comes to U.S. theaters September 19th.
