Trailer: Rurouni Kenshin

0

Wow, this takes me back. I remember a lot of my friends being really into Rurouni Kenshin in college. It told the tale of a ruthless assassin trying to live peacefully, but of course his past follows him. I watched a few episodes here and there and thought it was cool, but I never sat down and watched the entire series. Looks like I now have an excuse to catch up — it only took, what, eight or nine years?

The teaser for the live-action version of Rurouni Kenshin says the film comes out in Japan on August 25, 2012. It’s a nice little taste of what’s to come. And now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to rearrange my Netflix queue and polish my reverse katana.
