By Scabbard Samurai is the upcoming movie from Hitoshi Matsumoto, the director of the 2007 movie Big Man Japan. If you haven’t seen it, Big Man Japan is one of the strangest and silliest things I’ve ever seen come from Japan, and this is the Japanese we’re talking about here, so that’s really saying something!
From the trailer, it looks like Scabbard Samurai will have much of the same sense of humor and oddity. And I’m already in love with that little Kimono-ed girl. She’s adorable.
