What a day for awesome trailers! Earlier, the trailer for the bro-filled The Expendables 2 was released. Now, the trailer for one of my most anticipated films of the summer, The Amazing Spider-Man, has just been released. Watch it. Enjoy it. Get excited. I think it’s safe to say that this short two and a half minute trailer was enough to set The Amazing Spider-Man leaps and bounds over Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. Need evidence? The short scene at the 1:01 mark. This is how I like my Spider-Man: witty, and undeniably badass. In fact, I’ll even overlook the fact that he spends a huge chunk of the trailer unmasked. For now.
