Trailer: The Devil Inside

January is often a place where would-be Oscar winners get wider releases and where absolute dreck goes to die. It seemed like The Devil Inside was fully in the latter camp, a fake-documentary version of The Rite. But, you know, this red band trailer for the film looks promising, even if only for one scene towards the end.

Maybe there’s more to The Devil Inside than just handheld cameras and routine exorcism fare. Or, you know, maybe most of the good bits in the movie are included above. If anything, I look forward to the mediocre-at-best demonic possession movie of 2013. It’s a grand new holiday tradition!
