While it looks like the lead actress in this American version of the Swedish movie based on a Swedish book, Rooney Mara, will probably do a good job of playing tough-chick Lisbeth Salander, I’m personally a little sad that this movie won’t have Noomi Rapace in it. Rapace just exudes the confidence, vulnerability and confused anger that made her character so amazing in the Swedish movie. Mara has some tiny, black combat boots to fill as far as I’m concerned.
