The first trailer for The Guilt Trip looks…well…cute really. Andy Brewster (Seth Rogen) has just invented a product as is going a trip across the United States to pitch his idea. He then feels so bad for his lonely mother (played by Barbara Streisand who hasn’t been in a movie in forever) that he decides to being her along for his eight day trip. From there, I’m sure shenanigans happen and they both learn to love each other or something.
I think the trailer’s cute. There’s nothing instantly gripping, but the trailer was endearing. I’m sure this is something I’ll end up seeing with my own mom. The Guilt Trip will be out Christmas/Nondenominational Holiday Day.
