By As teased last week, the trailer for the highly-anticipated The Hunger Games debuted this morning. Directed by Gary Ross (Pleasantville), the film is about a set of televised events where a boy and girl represent each of the twelve districts of Panem. Based on the series of novels by author Suzanne Collins, the film is looking to be the next great film adaptation, following the path recently blazed by Harry Potter and Twilight. Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone) and Josh Hutcherson (The Kids Are All Right) star as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mallark, respectively.
