The Hunter tells the story of a mercenary (Willem Dafoe) searching for the world’s last Tasmanian Tiger in the Austrailian wilderness. The trailer’s short, a paltry thirty-eight seconds, but it looks pretty solid. More than anything it looks absolutely gorgeous, so this may be worth seeing for the cinematography alone. Of course, there’s also the presence of Willem Dafoe, which basically means nothing but good things. Or exceptionally odd things, if you’re fans of Podtoid over at Destructoid. Dafoe needs to get a contract with those guys and start making movies based off the stuff they say. Million dollar idea!
