By Meryl Streep is one of the few actors that I have a deep respect for. Regardless of the script, she seems to constantly be able to embody the people she portrays with uncanny realism and sincerity. Streep’s newest film is titled The Iron Lady, and it’s a biopic about the first female Prime Minister of the UK: Margaret Thatcher. Match made in heaven? Perhaps.
While this teaser trailer is short, is shows off Streep’s ability to master the portrayal of a persona and hints at some of the hardships Thatcher herself had to overcome and endure during her career. Enjoy!
