By Just two days after a new poster for The Last Stand was released, we now have the first trailer for the film to share with you. It looks pretty much like what you’d expect: Arnold Schwarzenegger swaggers, shoots, and sneers at things, followed by ‘splosions. And then you smile. There better be a scene where Arnie growls “Yargharaghya,” I’m just saying.
As far as one-liners go, they’re probably holding back for the actual film, and ditto the action set pieces that director Kim Jee-Woon has in store. But in this trailer, Arnold does channel his inner Murtaugh. Maybe “I’m the sheriff” is a one-liner as well, which sounds kooky when delivered in that masculine Austrian accent. Actually, in addition to growling “Yargharaghya,” Arnie better let out a hearty cowboy yell too.
The Last Stand kicks the hell outta you on January 18th, 2013.
