We’ve shown you pictures from the set. We’ve shown you the…interesting poster. Now, we’ve got the very first trailer for The Muppets, and it makes me SO SO HAPPY. It takes a little bit for the actual Muppets to show up in this trailer, but it’s a fantastic gag, and it really makes me feel good about the direction this film is taking. As big a fan as I am for the Green Lantern and Winnie the Pooh movies, this may be my most anticipated movie of the year. Screw you, Terrence Malick, with your meditations on life and crap like that. I’m in it for the Muppets!
So what do you guys think? Is this going to be a Muppet Christmas Carol classic, or more along the lines of Muppet Wizard of Oz?
