This looks cool. The Prodigies is a French animated film about a group of powerful, emotionally-scarred teens seeking to exact their revenge upon the world. If that doesn’t hook you, then you may not have a soul. The animation in this teaser isn’t fantastic, but it’s got a certain cel-shaded charm about it. Also, the destruction portrayed within is absolutely badass. The film is directed by Antoine Charreyron, who’s is more notably known for his work on the video games Wet and Wheelman, both heavily inspired by big Hollywood action. Check out the trailer here, and see the poster and the official synopsis below the cut. The Prodigies releases in France on March 9th.
