Trailer: The Woman in Black

0

Another trailer has appeared for The Woman in Black, the forthcoming Gothic horror movie with Daniel Radcliffe in the lead. Based on a novel by Susan Hill, the movie is a good ol’ Hammer Film, and the trailers thus far have given off some of that eerie, delightfully dusty air of those Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing films of the 1950s and 1960s.

My own preference is for the trailers that appeared in August and October. This most recent one isn’t bad by any means, though it is shorter and as a result feels rushed; lighter on atmospherics by comparison. Then again, this may just be a symptom of seeing multiple trailers for the same film. Hopefully they aren’t giving away all the good bits in these, but I guess we’ll find out when The Woman in Black opens in February.
