By Well this looks freaking nuts. Lucky McKee returns to the screen directing this absolutely crazy looking horror movie. The Woman tells the tale of a small town lawyer who attempts to civilize the last remaning woman of a violent tribe. Naturally, the lawyer’s family is at stake. Fearing for their fingers, maybe even their lives, the lawyer has to put an end to the woman’s dastardly deeds.
I’ve never seen Lucky McKee’s previous work, but Alex Katz seems to think 2002’s May is pretty good. And after a successful Sundance screening, which resulted in this viewer to go on a tirade, I’m pretty excited for what The Woman has to offer.
