If you’ve read our Summer Movie Preview, then you already know that I’ve managed to remain fairly excited for X-Men: First Class, despite the past two X-flicks being festering turds. This new trailer features a lot of stuff we’ve seen before, but we also get some new glimpses of the students in action and a bit more of the idealogical banter between Xavier and Magneto. There also seems to be a lot more footage of Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique in this one — specifically her romantic involvement with Nicholas Hoult’s Beast — that seems to showcase the themes of teen angst that director Matthew Vaughn notoriously compared to Twilight.
