Trailer: Zero Dark Thirty

I think we can all agree that Kathryn Bigelow’s film about the hunt for Osama bin Laden has a pretty thoroughly terrible title. I’ve got no doubt that Zero Dark Thirty is probably the code name for the operation that ended in Seal Team 6 taking down the al-Qaeda mastermind, but that still doesn’t change the fact that it looks like someone did a terrible job on a Madlib.

All kidding aside, this looks like it could be a pretty amazing movie. There’s no clear distinction, at least from this trailer, if the film’s going to be more specifically about the final operation that ended in bin Laden’s death or about the entire eleven year manhunt to find him after 9/11, but either way, things are looking pretty solid. Look out for Zero Dark Thirty this December.
