Twins sequel to star Schwarzenegger, DeVito, and Murphy

A sequel to Twins has been planned, and it’s going to be called Triplets. I am not making this up. It will reteam Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, whose characters will learn that they have another sibling played by Eddie Murphy. Honestly, I assure you, I am not making this up.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, all three actors are attached to star in Triplets, but this odd vehicle is in search of a writer and a director. Might I suggest Michael and Mark Polish, real-life twins who made the films Twin Falls Idaho, Northfork, and The Astronaut Farmer. Michael is working solo right now on an adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s Big Sur.

Maybe it’s been a long week, but out of sheer bafflement, I cannot squeeze one more joke out of my dessicated brain about the fact that there’s a Twins sequel called Triplets in the works, and it’s got Eddie Murphy in it.
