Two new Wreck-It Ralph images show off characters

While we’re all pretty much more excited than Mario with an invincibility star for Wreck-It Ralph to hit theaters later this year, we’ve seen suspiciously little of the videogame themed movie and its titular anti-hero, Ralph. There’s this concept art, which looks awesome, and the poster, which also looks awesome, but we haven’t gotten a good look at Ralph himself or his love interest Vanellope von Schweetz.

Now Dutch site Animatie claims to have this first look at what Ralph, voiced by John C. Reilly, will look like in the film along with a claim that we’ll be seeing a trailer very soon. They also dug up some more art that looks like artwork for the game Sugar Rush, which is the game Vanellope comes from. Ralph will be traveling through a bunch of different games, so his artwork will change a lot we’re guessing as he encounters different game styles.

I think I’m still the biggest fan of 8-bit Ralph, though they obviously couldn’t do the entire film like that… or could they? I say we demand an entirely 8-bit sequel out of Disney!
