Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet Show Trailer - E3 2019

I wasn’t expecting seeing a TV show be announced during Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, but stranger things have happened. During Ubisoft’s presser, Rob McElhenney of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia fame took the stage of  to announce a new show created by himself and Charlie Day, done through Ubisoft’s film and television department, and showed off the first trailer of the show.

In Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet, Mythic Quest is the largest MMORPG in the world and it’s going to receive its first expansion pack. The show follows the development of this new pack with a strong focus on it’s creative director Ian Grimm, the Michael Scott of this show played by McElhenney with an ego to boot, making a trailer of the game that’s mostly him being shirtless looking like a sex God. I can dig it.

On the whole, this looks pretty solid. There’s no set release date for the show, though it was confirmed that Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquest would stream exclusively on Apple TV+. Minus a possible title change (since as it is the title is mouthful), this looks like it has the potential to be a genuinely funny series.
