To me, Uwe Boll feels like a new Ed Wood. Sure, he work with better materials and have a bit more sense, not to mention his aggressive behavior when it comes to defending his work, but no other director has put out a consistent string of horrible films. Whether he tries for drama or just throws caution to the wind in the name of “satire” (see: Postal), I can’t think of anyone else who loves film as much as he does but just doesn’t get it in the slightest.
So before his latest trainwreck releases — Auschwitz, a cinematic atrocity about an actual atrocity — allow me to break the news of his next project: Blubberella. Quiet Earth spotted a low quality movie poster that could very well be a joke, but it seems like something the infamous director would produce. Here is the totally in-depth synopsis:
The first female fat superhero … She will kick major ass – with her major ass … All the BLOODRAYNE fans will love that movie!
Uuuuuugggggghhhhhhhhh. Why am I getting a cheesy 90s vibe off of this? And since when were there were fans of Bloodrayne? And why would fans of hot vampire girl action also like whatever this turns out to be? Just…no.
